Custom Bed and Sofa Build

Initially the bed setup involved a futon running lengthwise, however this proved to be a poor solution in terms of storage.

The bed was build to have various modes.

1. Sofa at back of van
2. Reverse Sofa looking out of back of van
3. Double bed
4. Double bed with side headboard

The bed was lowered a couple of times as we adjusted it for head height when using it as a sofa.

The mattress is a futon mattress, and the panels and beams are easily movable and removable in seconds if we want to remove the bed entirely for carrying a large load in the van.
