Ceiling and Lights
Following insulting of the ceiling, batons were screwed lateral across the van, avoiding the cable loom that ran inside the tubing the batons were screwed to. These batons then support lengths of tongue and groove, providing a 1.5 inch space for more thick insulation.
Lights were installed as the ceiling was built on two separate circuits, allowing for 2 independent lights over the bed area, and the other four lamps lighting the main area of the van.
Specially shaped batons were installed at the edges, and front and back, to support the contoured sections of ceiling that would otherwise not easily be firmly held. These batons also provided an anchor point for the overhead locker and over kitchen unit. The overhead locker had one extra baton running longitudinally to allow I too be positioned in an exact position.
